This is the official date of an actual competition. Keep the dates of these placeholders in mind as competitions are linked to promotions.
Students Green belt and above, need to do at least 1 competition per year to progress.
Students Brown Belt and above need to do at least 3 competitions as a Brown Belt to be eligible for 1st Degree Black Belt testing. At least 1 kata and 1 kumite competition.
Only kata competition is mandatory for over 35s. Kumite is optional.
